Hi! Thank you for your interest in Troop 635.
Our Troop is made up of youth from area schools including Milford, Loveland, St Columban MVCA, & Goshen SD. Our Charter organization and home base is Epiphany United Methodist Church. You do not need to be a church member to join our troop.
Youth can join Scouts BSA and our troop if they are at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade and register on or after March 1st; OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, OR are age 11 but have not reached age 18.
Being in scouting provides a great opportunity for learning leadership, problem solving, team building and outdoor skills. Scouts are active in a lot of great activities, including community service, camping, rock climbing, photography, computers, cooking, and much, much more!
Our troop also participates in High Adventure each summer. Our rotation includes Philmont (Hiking in mountains of NM), Northern Tier (Minnesota Canoeing), Summit (West Virginia outdoor adventures) & Sea Base (Sailing in the FL Keys).
Our troop meetings are Monday nights at 7pm EST at Epiphany United Methodist Church in Loveland, OH during the school year. We typically have one campout per month. We have about 40 scouts in our troop, with a high percentage of scouts achieving Eagle rank. Troop dues for 2024-2025 year are $70 and includes troop neckerchief, shoulder loops and activity t-shirt. Troop dues are in addition to BSA National and Council fees.
